A majority of our programs are Onward Israel – Masa programs, carried out in partnership with Masa Israel Journey. Onward Israel, first established in 2012 as a program of the Jewish Agency for Israel, is now a department of Taglit Birthright Israel. Onward is a partnership between lead philanthropists and foundations, Jewish communities, and organizations from around the world. It also serves as a major platform for mid-length internship experiences in partnership with Masa Israel Journey.
FALL & WINTER PROGRAMS
Live like a local and experience a new work environment while gaining valuable skills and connections. The Onward Israel Winter Internship program in Tel Aviv offers you the opportunity to develop your professional future and build your resume through a high-level internship experience for 8 weeks.
While in Israel you will intern alongside Israeli peers and immerse yourself in contemporary Israeli society. Experience Israel through Onward Israel’s exclusive day trips, overnights and seminars. In your free time, explore Israel’s amazing restaurants, beaches, and nightlife with a cohort of other young adults.
This Onward Israel program is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other leading philanthropists, the Government of Israel, and Masa Israel Journey. Participants on Onward Israel programs that are run in partnership with Masa may return to Israel on long-term Masa programs after Onward Israel although the size of any potential scholarship may be influenced by prior participation on Onward Israel. WINTER ADVANCE INTERNSHIP
Looking for professional development this winter break!? The Winter Advance Program is designed to get you to Israel during winter break and back on campus before the start of spring semester to continue interning remotely and build on the network you made while abroad.
You will get to explore and live in Israel like a local for the first four weeks of the program and then take your newfound connections and skills beyond your time on the ground by continuing to intern remotely for the following four weeks of the program. Set yourself apart from your peers, gain valuable internship experience, and immerse yourself in everything Israel has to offer. Build your resume through a high-level internship along with unforgettable and exclusive day trips, enrichment activities, and connections that will last beyond your time in Israel.
