Our Campus

Hillel at City College serves a tight-knit Jewish community on a large commuter urban campus located in West Harlem. At CCNY, Hillel offers free kosher lunch twice a week, Jewish learning and Israel education programs, a space in the center of campus to take a break in between classes, leadership opportunities, an on-campus daily minyan, coffee dates with Hillel staff and interns, and so much more! Hillel is a great way to make friends and find a community on a large campus. Plus, being a part of Hillel at City College also connects Jewish students to our other schools in Manhattan, coming together for off-campus events around NYC, shabbatons and conferences, and more.

Our Community

Jewish students at City College come from all over NYC, Long Island, Rockland County, New Jersey, and beyond. Many commute from home and many also live with roommates they met at Hillel in Washington Heights - just a short subway ride away from campus.

Some of the most popular areas of study at CCNY are also popular among Hillel students including the sciences, medicine, engineering, and architecture.

Our Space

Located at NAC 4/153, in the center of campus, our office is always packed with students enjoying free coffee and snacks, charging their phones, planning events, doing homework, and having thoughtful discussions about Judaism and Israel.

Upcoming Events

We always have something new going on at our campus. Check out our events calendar below for the latest in Jewish events and activities.

Student Board

Hillel is all about student leadership! The Student Board represents Hillel on campus, plans amazing events, and engages their peers with Jewish life on campus.
