Alliance Risk- Summer Intern

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Summer Intern to join our team and gain exposure to the full scope of our sales operations. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience where you will work alongside sales professionals, assist in client engagement, and collaborate with our executive leadership team. In addition to your time in the sales department, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with our COO and CFO, learning about strategic decision-making, business leadership, and company operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support & Engagement: Assist with key sales activities, including lead generation, client outreach, proposal preparation, and sales presentations. Gain an understanding of the sales process and how we connect with and serve clients.

  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive analysis to support sales strategies. Present findings to the sales team and senior leadership.

  • Client Interaction: Shadow account managers and sales executives on client calls and meetings, gaining exposure to client relationship management, negotiation, and account management.

  • Sales Process Optimization: Help analyze and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, tracking, and reporting. Assist in identifying key performance metrics and tools that drive success.

  • Exposure to Leadership: Spend time with the CFO and COO to understand the company’s broader financial and strategic goals. Participate in high-level discussions on company growth, operational performance, and long-term vision.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside various departments (e.g., marketing, operations, customer service) to understand how sales functions are integrated across the organization.

  • Executive Presentations: Assist in preparing materials for executive meetings, including performance reports, sales forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Current student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a desire to learn about the sales process and business leadership.

    • Interest in pursuing a career in sales, business development, or corporate leadership.
