Job Title/Project: Fundraising Associate, Women’s Brigade

We have a challenging project for someone with accounting experience. This is a great opportunity for a successful accounting professional looking for a short-term challenge in a role that combines leveraging accounting data management and process improvement skills.

Essential Job Duties:
Provide administrative support to Chapter Director for public presentations to engage small or
large groups of participants, volunteers, and donors.
Effectively utilize the CRM platform in support of donor relationship management.
Provide timely and accurate reporting to Chapter Director and local Board members
Retain and manage donor appreciation.
Create and manage pipeline reports to support chapter growth
Work with local Board members and serve as a resource to those who engage in prospect/donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Create and manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns
Key Performance Indicators:
Find and secure new donors >$1,800
Assist in planning and executing events to drive awareness and engagement in FIDF

Job Title/Project: Marketing and Events, Young Leadership

Position Summary:
The focus of this role is executing marketing and communication needs focused on the Young Leadership demographic, as well as creating, streamlining, and maintaining event and campaign timelines across the Young Leadership division. Young Leaders, 21-40 tend to lean more left in their political views, are part of the “save the world” generation, and are digital natives, so it’s important that we differentiate the way we communicate to them. This division is made up of emerging leaders, change-makers, and social butterflies, who aspire to be part of securing a bright future for Jews worldwide.
Essential Job Duties:
Developing and implement a National Young Leadership marketing strategy to engage young professionals in a uniform voice, across the country through a range of aspects of marketing including communications, event-promotion, and social media.
Serve as the primary point person for marketing and communications needs for FIDF Young Leadership – both from a national and local chapter perspective.
Work with the Marketing Department to create a clear sub-brand for FIDF National Young Leadership that is in line with our national brand but is distinctive and customized for this audience. Utilize this new sub-brand (colors, language, etc.) to create marketing collateral.
Manage all YL marketing collateral and activities for the 35+ annual events - track progress, timelines, and deadlines, and traffic work through a workflow process. Such collateral includes: mass email communications, event invitations, press releases, ads, newsletters, slideshow presentations, donor gratitude albums, and event webpages.
Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events; i.e., photographers, caterers, security, marketing collateral (invites, sponsor reels, program, website, registration), soldier requests, etc.
Proficiency with Canva is required. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a bonus.
Curate and manage the Young Leadership local and National social media pages. These social pages will host campaigns and be the go-to pages for young leaders to have up- to-date IDF content and FIDF educational content. These pages will also be the main form of promotion for local and national events, and will also be used to spotlight our young leaders.
Learn our repertoire of videos and materials and make recommendations to chapters.
This person should have a can-do attitude, a customer-service approach, and enjoy working
collaboratively. This person should also have a sincere and genuine interest in the importance

Position Summary:
FIDF is currently seeking a full-time Young Leadership Manager, who will report to the National Young Leadership Director and will be a member of the dynamic, professional, and fast-paced National Young Leadership team. The National Young Leadership Campaign is focused on developing and implementing an organization-wide strategy to engage and fundraise within a key demographic group of young professionals, ages 21-40, with a focus on building a lay leadership talent pipeline.
The focus of this job is making connections with young professionals, motivating, and inspiring them to achieve growth of our Young Leadership division and support for the soldiers of Israel. This role has a variety of tasks and is dynamic, always working on creating the next inspiring experience to engage the future generation of Jewish leaders and Israel supporters.

What you’ll do
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing Young Leadership donors to retain and increase support.
Organize and manage logistics for local events including local chapter committee meetings, parlor meetings, Shabbat dinners, large-scale Galas, etc.
Represent FIDF at various events to engage prospects and identify partnership opportunities.
Manage local YL communications and related tasks including, but not limited to: responding to requests for information from donors and executing chapter e-blasts/newsletters.
Effectively utilize the CRM platform, ensuring chapter data integrity to support decision making and prospect management.
Board Governance
Timely, effective communication with the local lay leaders.
Work with local Board members and lay leaders and serve as a resource to those who engage in prospect/donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Recruit for the National Young Leadership Mission to Israel.
Manage a local expense and fundraising budget, as part of the National
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
Minimum 5 years of fundraising, events, and/or community building experience
Understanding of local Jewish community
Excellent written, oral, and communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications required and experience using CRM tools, with Raisers Edge experience preferred.
Ability to travel locally required. Occasional international travel to Israel as well as evening and working on Sundays required.

About the Role
Foundation grants are a key component of FIDF’s current and future revenue. The Associate Director of Foundations should have the specific knowledge, experience, and skill sets to explain FIDF’s programs and projects to foundation directors, trustees, and professionals necessary to secure foundation grants. The position will support the organization by developing, cultivating, and stewarding current, lapsed, and prospective foundations for FIDF programs and projects, focusing on foundations in the Northeast Region. The position will generate foundation grants and outreach and meet with potential foundation staff and trustees, oversee foundation meetings with FIDF leadership, and manage, analyze, and evaluate foundation information critical to developing letters of intent (LOIs), proposals, and reports.
Position reports to Director of Foundations in collaboration with the Northeastern Vice President.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and track foundations in the Northeast Region
Research and develop new regional foundation prospects
Assist in the development of a stewardship services program for foundations
Develop foundation contacts and facilitate foundation meetings
Ensure Raiser’s Edge foundation data entry with a high level of data integrity
Prepare, review, and analyze NET generated reports on Northeast Regional foundation
Work with Planned Giving and Foundations and Northeast Region Teams to develop a targeted approach to cultivate and steward foundation relationships
Identify new foundations through data mining, demographic searches, screening information, and other industry tools.
Cultivate personal knowledge of organization priorities and programs, research and fundraising techniques
Assist with Grant Proposals, as needed
Core Competencies:
Strong resource development, fundraising skills. Advanced understanding of private and corporate foundations, giving capacity, and identifying foundation prospects.
Excellent verbal and communication skills. Demonstrated planning and organizational skills to manage multiple meeting, events, and requests. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to thrive in a team setting and excellent collaboration skills.
Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience in using databases, developing foundation presentations, and setting up collaborative meetings with FIDF and foundation leadership/staff.
Qualifications
5-10 years nonprofit experience, particularly working with foundations
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of the Jewish community and Israel
Experience with RE NXT (Raiser’s Edge), Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
