Accounting Intern

Accounting Dept. at mid-size company seeks Intern for our national office located in midtown Manhattan for immediate start. A great opportunity to learn all facets of Accounting. Must take initiatives and exercise independent thinking, while performing accounting and other daily administrative duties.

Qualifications include Accounting major or related field; one year experience in business environment a plus; proficiency in MS Office (advance level Excel); excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; detail oriented.

A basic understanding of accounting to assist with the month end closing process and experience with Excel. Knowledge of Great Plains accounting system, Concur expense reporting, Accounts Payable processing are pluses but not required.

Hourly range $18-$20 based on qualifications (Approx. 24 Hrs/Wk).
