March 2024 Jewish Changemakers Fellowship

March 2024 Jewish Changemakers Fellowship Now Open!

The Jewish Changemakers Fellowship is a virtual leadership development experience powered by the Jewish Federations of North America. The program focuses on career development, making a difference in the community, and connecting with professionals and peers for Jewish young adults ages 20-25. The program begins with a six-week virtual fellowship, and Changemakers alumni become part of our network — with access to ongoing opportunities for leadership, connection-building, mentoring, and career advancement. Through the fellowship and alumni engagement, Changemakers grow their skills and contacts needed for future success.

The Changemakers curriculum covers three themes 1) self-discovery and personal growth 2) building community and collaboration 3) networking and professional development. Jewish values and ideas are woven throughout.

The big idea is to recruit and train a generation of young Jewish leaders – a vanguard that will transform our community and the world, now and into the future.

**NEW THIS YEAR – A Cohort specifically connecting 20-25-year-old Jewish nonprofit professionals across the field as they learn together throughout this experience.

In this session, participants will have the opportunity to join Cohorts with peers across the Changemakers program. The cohort experience provides the opportunity to connect and interact with 8-15 peers led weekly by a Faculty member specializing in facilitation.

Participants who achieve the program requirements of approximately 3-5 hours a week for six weeks earn a $350 stipend. Required program components are:

  1. One weekly plenary session

  2. One weekly cohort meeting

  3. Independent study (3-4 hours per week)
