The Blue Card is a nonprofit organization that provides direct financial assistance to Holocaust survivors
in need. We are seeking an Outreach and Education Coordinator to lead our Holocaust Education
Program, which utilizes cutting-edge hologram technology. This position offers a unique opportunity to
advance Holocaust education and survivor care through a dynamic role that combines public speaking,
outreach, operations, and advocacy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is organized, communicative, and a strong writer. They will serve
as the primary presenter for educational events, engaging with audiences of all ages in schools,
community centers, and other institutions.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating logistics for each presentation: creating PowerPoint Presentations, confirming event
details, communicating with host organizations, managing materials, and entering engagements
into a shared calendar.
• Building and maintaining partnerships with schools and community organizations, with an
emphasis on expanding into public, private, and charter schools.
• Researching and proposing program improvements, working with leadership and the Holocaust
Education Expert Advisory Panel.
• Creating and scheduling social media posts.
• Updating the organization’s website as needed.
• Assisting with miscellaneous organizational tasks as needed, including audits, grants, volunteer
coordination, donor support, meetings, and coverage for staff absences.
This is a part-time, in-person position based in New York City. The Outreach and Education Coordinator
plays a vital role in expanding The Blue Card’s impact and preserving the legacy of Holocaust survivors for
future generations.
Hourly Compensation: $35/HR
