Deer Mountain Day Camp is Hiring Lifeguards, Counselors, and Instructors for Summer 2023

We are specifically looking for current college students who have great energy and enthusiasm, want to spend the summer working outside, have experience being thoughtful, responsible leaders among their peers; and are kind, caring, compassionate and sensitive to the needs of children.

Join Our Staff team as Group Counselors and Lifeguards and you will:

  •  Learn how manage and facilitate children in a larger group setting

  • Begin to find your voice as a leader and as a teacher

  • Have an opportunity to be creative and have fun

  • Have a direct impact on the children you meet and care for and on our camp community

Daily Lunch & Transportation Provided, Extra Salary for Van Supervisors

We offer transportation to staff coming from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Hoboken, Bergen County and Westchester. Extra salary provided for staff members who supervise the van ride to and from camp.
