IsraeLead
Join other student leaders from Manhattan on an intensive 8-day trip to Israel that provides participants the opportunity to gain a first-hand experience of the State of Israel, its people, and culture. This trip will include many highlights from exploring ancient sites to natural wonders while experiencing the culture of the land. Student leaders will also hear from high level speakers and different organizations.

Birthright Israel Onward
Spend your summer interning 4-5 days a week while immersing yourself in contemporary Israeli society. In addition to living and working in Tel Aviv, you will experience tour days, a weekend seminar and group activities with a cohort of other young adults. In your free time, you will have the opportunity to explore Israel’s amazing nightlife, culture, and rich history.
Dates: Track 1: May 29, 2024 – July 23, 2024
Track 2: June 5, 2024 – July 30, 2024
Track 3: June 10, 2024 – August 4, 2024
Eligibility: Birthright alumni
Cost: $999* (Large scholarships available for the first 15 students to apply)
In addition, participants will be required to submit a $400 security deposit in advance via credit card. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program pending good standing
The program cost includes housing, educational programming, program staff, basic medical insurance, and ground transportation within the city of residence.
Birthright Israel Onward believes that under the current conditions in Israel, it is possible to run our programs safely and securely in line with Israeli Civil Defense guidelines and with the effective defense layer provided by Iron Dome. In fact, we are currently bringing hundreds of volunteers to Israel. If the situation changes significantly on the ground we will take the necessary precautions and make the necessary adjustments. If in the future, we don’t believe that we can safely and securely run our programs, we will postpone them until safer times.
Hillel on Base
HOB (Hillel on Base) is a 10-day trip to Israel volunteering on an IDF (Israeli Defense Force) base. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to help support Israel during this time
You will:
1) Be on an IDF base in IDF uniform and alongside soldiers
2) On Kibbutz Keturah, which is currently hosting 150 displaced Israelis from Kibbutzim Nir Oz and Beeri since October 7th.

Hasbara
Unpack Israel's complexities, explore Israel's borders, learn advocacy, and network with key Israeli figures and influencers. To meet the significant challenges students now face, Habara is launching a seven day, student leadership mission to Israel for a select delegation of 20 North American students
The focus of the mission will be to provide students with first-hand accounts of what happened, as well as provide information, resources and tools to better equip pro-Israel student leaders on key campuses to be more effective in their efforts to combat both antisemitism and anti-Israel propaganda and articulate an effective and sustained pro-Israel message on their campus. Student participants will be selected based on their current experience as pro-Israel leaders on campus and social media foot print.

Eligibility: Participants must be undergraduate students with at least two semesters left on campus after the conclusion of their trip.

JewishGen Future Scholars Fellowship
JewishGen is pleased to invite applications for its fourth annual JewishGen Future Scholars Fellowship program to take place from July 9, 2024 - July 18, 2024. Rising second-fourth year undergraduate students in accredited colleges or universities are invited to apply.
This immersive program, created in partnership with The Matzevah Foundation, and the Friends of Jewish Heritage in Poland, focuses on the role of Jewish cemeteries today in preserving the memory and legacy of former Jewish communities.
This program is nearly fully subsidized, save for a $450 (to be paid upon acceptance and commitment to the program) non-refundable registration fee. All other expenses will be completely covered by JewishGen (including r/t travel from NY, transportation in Poland, meals, lodging, materials, etc). Dietary laws will be observed.

Israel 2.0 Summer 2024
SUMMER 2024: July 21 - August 6
This year, their signature program (see description below) takes on new focus and meaning with a special emphasis on volunteer activities. In the aftermath of October 7th, Israel 2.0 is determined to aid the war effort, supporting our brothers and sisters in Israel. Together, we will win!
This trip is an amazing, two-week experience in the land of Israel. Take a challenging bike ride around the Kinneret, visit the mystical city of Tzfat and its world famous art colony, and wander in the desert, taking spectacular hikes in Southern Israel.
Explore some of the deep wisdom of the Torah and the unparalleled history of the Jewish people in a fun and engaging way, while learning the meaning behind Jewish traditions, and experiencing a taste of Jewish spirituality.
Last, but not least, spend a week in Jerusalem! Feel the pulse of the capital of Israel, meet a variety of important leaders, and learn the issues of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict from people with first-hand knowledge.
