ADL International Affairs Spring 2026 Internship Description
Are you a student interested in combatting antisemitism, global affairs, and diplomacy? ADL's
International Affairs team is looking for an intern from January 5th, 2026, to June 12th, 2026,
in New York City. This opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience in international
relations.
As an intern, you'll assist in maintaining databases that track our diplomatic relationships,
monitor global affairs relevant to ADL's mission, and engage in outreach and advocacy to the
diplomatic corps national and international partners. You'll also have the opportunity to hone
your research, writing, and dissemination skills.

Requirements:
• Must be based in the greater New York City area
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled at a college or
university towards an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Passion for non-profit work
• Familiarity with issues related to antisemitism and global affairs
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the daily tasks of the International Affairs team in New York and Washington,
DC, including the monitoring of global news and social media, and preparation of digests
and policy memos, and fact-checking.
• Undertake database maintenance to support ongoing projects
• Undertake assigned research and writing tasks to support ongoing projects.
• Assist with event management and updating of contact lists.
• Provide assistance to other members of the International Affairs team.

• Good command of office software and social media
• Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with colleagues remotely
• Candidates who have a working knowledge of an additional language besides English
preferred
• Ability to deliver written products required
• Experience with remote and/or international work preferred
Compensation and Hours:
• This internship is paid $16.50 an hour.
• The internship is up to 15 hours per week.
• Hours can be flexible.
Location:
• This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in New York City
What will you do during this internship?
• You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time
solutions.
• You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
• You will have the opportunity to attend outreach and advocacy meetings.
• You will have practical, hands-on experience with International Affairs programming.
• Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and
become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish
people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
