Field Organizer Job Description

Summary:

United Democracy Project is hiring a team of Field Organizers to help run grassroots efforts in key primary races during the 2024 election cycle. These individuals will work to engage and mobilize voters on the ground in key congressional districts. Field Organizers will report to the Regional Field Director assigned to their race.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating a strong and effective field program in the primary race.

  • Working with Regional Field Director to make sure GOTV efforts are robust and maximized.

  • Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly metrics.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with voters and community stakeholders.

  • Utilizing cutting edge voter software to engage and identify grassroots activists within the district.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Campaign or political experience preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage community members.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Self-starter who thrives working independently and in a group setting.

  • Experience managing multiple processes and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility as needs and priorities change.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook preferred.

  • Commitment to a strong US-Israel relationship a must.

Regional Field Director Job Description

Summary:

United Democracy Project is hiring Regional Field Directors to lead grassroots efforts in key primary races during the 2024 election cycle. These individuals will run our grassroots operations in key congressional districts and will manage a team of Field Organizers. The Regional Field Directors will have overall responsibility for the field efforts in their assigned district. This position will report to the National Field Director based out of DC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Building and overseeing a strong and effective field program in the primary race.

  • Hiring, training and managing team of Field Organizers.

  • Ensuring that all staff have necessary resources and are consistently productive throughout the day.

  • Working with Field Director to make sure GOTV efforts are robust and maximized.

  • Monitoring and enforcing goals to ensure daily, weekly and monthly metrics are hit and exceeded for the campaign.

  • Enforcing reporting systems to ensure all field metrics and data are reported accurately and on time.

  • Leading team in use of cutting-edge voter software to engage and identify grassroots activists within the district.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • At least one year campaign or political experience preferred.

  • Strong management and motivational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage community members and staff.

  • Excellent organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
