Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour
Hours: Minimum of 8 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
Organization Overview:
The Blue Card, a distinguished nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Holocaust survivors in need, is seeking a Program
Coordinator to join our team. The Blue Card provides direct financial assistance, social services, and specialized programs to improve
the quality of life for Holocaust survivors in the United States. Our efforts are driven by compassion, innovation, and a steadfast
commitment to ensuring dignity and well-being for those we serve.
Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator will play a supportive role in various projects across our operations, fundraising, and program development
departments. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management, community
engagement, and the development of programs that have a direct impact on the lives of Holocaust survivors. The Program Coordinator
will work closely with our dedicated team of professionals and will be involved in meaningful projects that contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and execution of special programs, including Passover assistance, financial aid distributions, and survivor
engagement events.
Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, ensuring smooth operations.
Monitor program timelines and track deliverables.
Maintain program records, databases, and reports.
Track program outcomes and assist in compiling impact reports.
Handle general correspondence related to program initiatives.
Communicate with survivors, volunteers, and donors as needed.
Assist in organizing volunteer opportunities and engagement activities.
Represent The Blue Card at outreach events when required.
Assist in preparing grant reports and tracking grant-related data.
Support donor outreach efforts through administrative tasks.
Provide additional operational support as needed.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
