Duration: Part-time with potential for extension to full-time position based on performance and organizational needs.

Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour

Hours: Minimum of 8 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.

Organization Overview:

The Blue Card, a distinguished nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Holocaust survivors in need, is seeking a Program

Coordinator to join our team. The Blue Card provides direct financial assistance, social services, and specialized programs to

improve the quality of life for Holocaust survivors in the United States. Our efforts are driven by compassion, innovation, and a

steadfast commitment to ensuring dignity and well-being for those we serve.

Position Summary:

The Program Coordinator will play a supportive role in various projects across our operations, fundraising, and program

development departments. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management,

community engagement, and the development of programs that have a direct impact on the lives of Holocaust survivors. The

Program Coordinator will work closely with our dedicated team of professionals and will be involved in meaningful projects that

contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for the organization.

• Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements in QuickBooks.

• Assist with bank reconciliations, tracking income and expenses.

• Prepare financial reports and assist in budget tracking.

• Support the preparation of financial statements for audits and grant reporting.

• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.

• Assist in donor and grant financial tracking as needed.

• Collaborate with the team to support financial planning and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not

required).

• Relevant coursework in bookkeeping, accounting principles, or nonprofit financial management is a plus.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and bookkeeping practices.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
