Read MoreIlya Bratman shares his story of experiencing anti-Semitism during his service in the U.S. Army while stationed in South Korea. Bratman, an immigrant to the U.S. from the former Soviet Union, faced accusations of duel loyalty from a fellow soldier who had never before met a Jewish person. Ilya used the encounter as a teaching moment and maintains a relationship with his fellow soldier. Dual loyalty is one of the oldest forms of anti-Semitism that has taken on new contemporary forms.
