IGF offers its participants, university graduates ages 22-30 from Jewish communities all over the world, a unique opportunity for personal, professional and academic growth. Our 10-month program is comprised of two main components:
1. The Internship: our fellows join teams and units throughout the Israeli public sector, where they learn and grow professionally at the heart of Israeli policymaking. Fellows are placed in the Israeli Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Justice, Economy, Finance, Education and others, as well as in leading policy research NGOs.
2. The Education: IGF Fellows receive an extensive and comprehensive Israel education, taking a nuanced look at core issues in Israeli society. Our fellows learn about and discuss government, Zionism, geopolitics, diplomacy, security, economics, religion and state, minority rights and several other issues and ideas. They also learn Hebrew in Ulpan.
Our 15th session starts in September 2020 and will run until June 2021. It's very important for us to reach the best possible candidates, in order to build a strong and diverse group.
