Financial Women’s Association Mentoring Program at Baruch College
The FWA Mentoring Program is a highly selective two year program in which rising juniors are matched with a mentor for their junior and senior years.Applicants MUST:
Be a current sophomore with two years left before graduation as of Fall 2025 (graduating May 2027)
Have a declared major within the Zicklin School of Business or one of the following three majors in the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences:
Actuarial Science
Business Communications
Financial Mathematics
Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
You also must plan to be a full-time student for the entire time you are a part of the FWA Mentoring Program (both the Fall and Spring semesters in both your Junior and Senior years).
Who we are: The FWA Mentoring Program helps students explore career paths, gain networking experience, and discover internship opportunities. The FWA mentors, current business and civic leaders in the NYC area, envision establishing relationships with students through graduation and beyond.
If chosen to participate in the program, you will have access to your own personal mentor, scholarships, academic conference opportunities, as well as monthly luncheon events including panel discussions, networking workshops, and renowned speakers. Completed applications are accepted on a rolling basis through Monday, March 3rd, 2025
Please note that there are two parts to the application: Yours and that of your professor recommender. After completing your application, please follow the instructions in your confirmation email on how to proceed to the second part of the application. Please do not wait until the due date to complete your application, as you will need to give your recommender time to complete their form as well. You can send them their form prior to filling out your application to ensure they have enough time to complete it.
